We encourage patrons to come to the site from 6pm (Thu/Fri/Sat) and from 4:30pm (Sun) to enjoy our delicious food and beverage offerings. The show will start promptly as advertised and we recommend all patrons take their seats upon arrival.

CAN I BUY MERCHANDISE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Of course! There will be a great selection of Night At the Barracks memorabilia and artist merchandise for purchase at the event.

ARRIVAL

Guests are encouraged to arrive prior to the start of the performance to enjoy our delicious food and beverage offerings. The show will start promptly as advertised and we recommend all patrons take their seats upon arrival.

SECURITY / BAG CHECK

At the discretion of our approved Security Team you may be requested to undertake a bag search.

ARE FOOD AND BEVERAGES AVAILABLE AT THE SHOW?

Absolutely! A full bar will be available prior to the performance and during intermissions. Patrons can also get food from some famed local vendors around the precinct of the event site, we encourage patrons to come to the site from 6pm (Thu/Fri/Sat) and from 4:30pm (Sun) to enjoy what is on offer.

HOW LONG IS THE PERFORMANCE?

Night at the Barracks show times are between 7:30pm to 9:30pm (Thu / Fri / Sat) and 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Sun). Doors open 90 minutes prior to with great food and beverage options.

ARE THERE SPECIAL EFFECTS THAT OCCUR DURING THE SHOW?

Night at the Barracks does use strobe lighting as well as theatrical smoke throughout some performances.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S RAINING ON SHOW DAY?

Night at the Barracks is an outdoor event. Please note the performances will proceed unless extreme weather is a threat to patrons, staff or performers safety at Night at the Barracks during showtime. If it is raining you should expect the performance to proceed as scheduled.

We strongly recommend you come prepared with wet weather gear, raincoats and ponchos (umbrellas may be used at the back or side of the seated area only so no views are blocked).

There will be ponchos available at our merchandise outlet. Night at the Barracks will provide as much notice as possible regarding any changes to performances due to extreme weather, however as weather conditions are unpredictable this status may change at any time so please keep an eye on our facebook link and instagram link for the most up to date information. The decision to delay or cancel a show is made by the Promoter on-site and can be made at any time up to or during the performance.

What about the local wildlife?

Night at the Barracks understands the sensitivities associated with the ubundant wildlife in the surrounding area to the Parade Grounds. Night at the Barracks have consulted with a number of Fauna and Flora experts to assess the impact of the event on local conditions. All our planning has taken the recommendations from these reports to ensure the event has minimal impact on the local wildlife, and to create the least amount of disturbance to the local environment. Our traffic, waste, noise, lighting and food plans all detail how we are taking necessary steps to avoid adverse affects on the local wildlife populations (in particular Bandicoots) which include amongst other measures a detailed education process for staff and crew working at the site. We will also use this event as an opportunity to educate patrons on the unique flora and fauna that exists at North Head.

TRAVEL

GETTING TO THE EVENT AND PARKING

There are many ways to get to the event in its beautiful North Head location. The journey to this hidden gem certainly adds to the sense of adventure. We would like to remind guests to consider the local residents, and particularly wildlife that live in the area, for this reason please don’t attempt to drive up into the site, as there is no parking, and we want to avoid additional cars moving up and down Darley Road. Where possible we really encourage people to use our shuttle bus service, or walk.

The simplest way to get into the event site is to walk from Manly CBD but we recognise this isn’t always possible.

TICKETING

WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON-SALE AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY?

Presale starts 9am Saturday 13th November with general release 9am Thursday 18th November.

How do I book using my Dine & Discover voucher?

To make a booking using your Discover voucher please click here to complete the booking form. A member of the Ticketmaster team will be in touch with you to process your ticket within 2 business days of receipt during working hours. Ticket availability is subject to change and will be confirmed upon time of phone booking, not on completion of this form.

Discover vouchers can also be redeemed at the venue on the night if you have not bought your ticket in advance. Only one $25 voucher can be redeemed per person, per day, so please make sure you have the voucher details of all parties in your group when you are contacted by the Ticketmaster representative.

WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?

Tickets will be sent to your nominated email address as ‘Print at Home’ or digitally to your phone. Please bring printed or digital tickets with you to the event.

DO CHILDREN GET IN FOR FREE?

Night at the Barracks is an All Ages event and tickets start from $69. Check out the ticket options here. Children aged 3 and under will be able to attend for free with any ticket holding adult, however they must not occupy a seat.
We have 4 person family ticket option (2 Adults 2 children or 1 Adult 3 Children) for children 14 years of age and under which offer a discount however there is no reduced cost individual child ticket.

WHAT IS THE COVID PLAN?

We’ve been working with our friends at NSW Health to make Night at the Barracks as safe as possible. We are constantly monitoring the latest government advice and will amend the event to ensure the safety of all out guests and staff.

Guests must not attend the event if they are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have been in close proximity to anyone with cold or flu symptoms or have returned from overseas within the past 14 days.

WHAT IF I AM FEELING UNWELL PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE?

If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
Please do not attend the venue if you have been unwell, have recently returned from an identified red zone, have visited an exposure site, or have been advised to isolate by DHHS. Please stay home if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, in isolation as a result of a COVID-19 diagnosis or awaiting COVID-19 test results, or are in quarantine as a returning international traveller or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19.

COVID Conditions of Purchase
You acknowledge that, notwithstanding compliance with government regulations, and procedures that may be taken by Night at the Barracks to register as a ‘COVID Safe’ business, there is still an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 that exists in any public place, including outdoor ticketed venues and other venues where people gather. You confirm that you (and any accompanying attendees) have considered all risks related to COVID-19 exposure by attending the outdoor event, including personal health conditions, and risks to those who may be in close contact with you (and your accompanying attendees) following attendance, given that this virus is contagious and can lead to serious health consequences particularly for vulnerable groups of people. You acknowledge that by attending the outdoor venue, you (and your accompanying attendees) voluntarily accept all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and at the time of attendance, you agree to comply with all government directives and abide with directives by Ticketmaster, the Promoter and Venue Management. It is a condition of entry that all patrons aged 16 and over have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 Vaccination prior to entry and that those ticket holders will be required to provide a proof of vaccination status or valid written medical exemption to our staff before entry to the venue. Masks may be mandatory for those aged 12 and over depending on NSW Health advice at the time of the event. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Conditions in accordance with NSW Health advice at the time of your visit in which case they will be communicated to ticket holders via the email address supplied at time of purchase.

EVENT RULES

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • ID – this is an all ages event however you must present your ID when asked to validate age (acceptable forms of identification are DRIVERS LICENCE, PASSPORT, AUSTRALIA POST KEYPASS and PROOF OF AGE CARD. This is in accordance with liquor licensing laws).
  • Proof of vaccination
  • If you have any medication please ensure it is clearly labelled with prescription details.
  • Money and/or bankcard. ATMs will not be present on site.
  • A copy of your festival ticket (Can be digital or printed).
  • Sun protection including hat and sunscreen. Likewise the show is outdoor and into the night-time so warm clothing is advised.
  • If it looks like rain, bring along wet weather gear (NO UMBRELLAS) ponchos will be available for sale.

WHAT SHOULDN’T I BRING?

  • Any bags or backpacks over 40x40cm, pets (excluding service animals), director chairs, umbrellas, selfie sticks, an esky, glass, alcohol or drugs, weapons (including pocket knives), fireworks and anything flammable or deemed dangerous. Patrons found with these items will have them confiscated on entry.
  • Food and Beverages will not be allowed to be brought into the precinct. We have a variety of local suppliers on site who will be selling food and drink throughout the duration of the evening.

WHAT IS PERMITTED?

  • Strollers/Prams and wheelchairs are permitted.
  • Mobile phones are permitted however please be respectful of other guests and try to live in the moment of the performances.

ARE UNDER 18’S ALLOWED IN ALL AREAS OF NIGHT AT THE BARRACKS?

Night at The Barracks is an all ages event. Under 18’s are permitted in most of the sections of the site, however they are not permitted in the licensed bar areas. Event personnel will be able to assist if you are unsure which areas are for 18+ guests only.

ARE PASS OUT’S PERMITTED?

Unfortunately pass out’s are not permitted at Night at the Barracks.
