What about the local wildlife?
Night at the Barracks understands the sensitivities associated with the abundant wildlife in the surrounding area to the Parade Grounds. Night at the Barracks have consulted with a number of Fauna and Flora experts to assess the impact of the event on local conditions. All our planning has taken the recommendations from these reports to ensure the event has minimal impact on the local wildlife, and to create the least amount of disturbance to the local environment. Our traffic, waste, noise, lighting and food plans all detail how we are taking necessary steps to avoid adverse affects on the local wildlife populations (in particular Bandicoots) which include amongst other measures a detailed education process for staff and crew working at the site. We will also use this event as an opportunity to educate patrons on the unique flora and fauna that exists at North Head.
