Getting To The Barracks is Simple

Reaching the event at North Head Sanctuary, just up the hill from Central Manly, is simple, with multiple transport options available.

Best Ways to Get There:

  • Event Shuttle from Central Manly – Our dedicated shuttle is the most convenient option. Pre-book your spot here. Pick up from Belgrave Street.
  • Rideshare & Taxi – A dedicated drop-off and pick-up point is available. Please plan for potential traffic.
  • Walk or Bike – Enjoy a scenic 20-minute walk up the hill from Central Manly.
  • Drive & Park at St. Paul’s High School – Limited parking is available 600m from the event site. Spaces must be booked in advance here.

Important Notes:

We encourage guests to be mindful of the environment, local residents, and the wildlife in the area. Please do not attempt to drive directly to the event site.

Once in Manly

BY FOOT OR BIKE

The event site is accessible by foot from Manly Wharf, this walk does involve a hill and can take approximately 20-30 minutes. We also have 70 bike racks available next to the event site.

BY CAR

Limited parking is available at St Pauls High School, when pre-booked via Ticketmaster at $40 per car.  The walk from St Pauls is a reasonably flat 600m. There will be no parking available on the night.

Alternatively Central Manly has many parking spots which can be found here. From these locations you can book yourselves onto the shuttle bus mentioned above or, of course, walk. For information on accessibility parking please look through our FAQ’s.

BY SHUTTLE

Once guests arrive in Manly, Night at The Barracks offer a dedicated shuttle to the Barracks that must be pre-booked.

Shuttle departs from Belgrave St, Stand E-G, (opposite Manly Police Station), and drops off at Felons at Manly Wharf (corner Wentworth St & East Esplanade). Tickets for the shuttle are $8 per person (return journey) and must be booked in advance on a first come first serve basis in addition to your event ticket.

FRIDAY / SATURDAY:

5.10pm / 5.30pm / 5.50pm / 6.10pm / 6.30pm From 9pm – return tix (shuttle service)

SUNDAY:

Travelling from Western & South-West Sydney?

Here’s how to get to Manly via public transport.

From Penrith:

  • Take the T1 Western Line train to Wynyard Station
  • Walk to Circular Quay and catch the Manly Ferry (20–30 min trip)
  • From Manly Wharf, it’s an easy walk or shuttle up to the venue

From Campbelltown / Macarthur Region:

  • Take the T8 Airport & South Line train to Central Station
  • Change to the T1 North Shore Line to Wynyard Station
  • Walk to Circular Quay and take the Manly Ferry
  • On arrival in Manly, follow the signs or hop on the event shuttle

From Kellyville / Richmond Area:

  • Take the Metro North West Line from Bella Vista or Rouse Hill to Chatswood Station
  • Transfer to the T1 North Shore Line and travel to Wynyard Station
  • Catch the Manly Ferry from Circular Quay
  • Walk or use the event shuttle to reach the Barracks

Take a ride on the Manly Fast Ferry or Sydney Ferry, take in the beautiful Sydney Harbour on route to Night at The Barracks at North Head Sanctuary. Why not arrive slightly early and take advantage of some of Manly’s many bars and restaurants before heading up to the event? For timetables of ferries see links below:

BY WATER TAXI

We welcome visitors from across Sydney. Water taxis can be arranged through the below to either Manly Wharf or Quarantine Station.

BY BUS

Regular state transit bus services operate to and from Manly. See below links to find your appropriate route.

RIDE SHARE / TAXI’S

Night at The Barracks is accessible by rideshare or taxi. We have a designated drop off location for these modes of transport. Please note that drop off point will be Gatehouse Drive, North Head Scenic Drive.
